About your instructor
I teach everyday people to handle firearms safely and shoot accurately, in small classes where every student gets real coaching.
My time with firearms started in the military: 21 years across the Marine Corps and the Air Force. That gave me an early foundation in safe handling and situational awareness. But protecting yourself as a civilian is a different problem, with different rules and responsibilities. That's what I teach.
After the military I built a second career in IT, working my way from individual contributor to management and executive roles. The biggest lesson from that work carries straight onto the range: knowledge only helps if you can explain it clearly.
So I take complex topics, like shot placement or making decisions under stress, and distill them into concepts you can understand and practice. Each class introduces new ideas. Private coaching helps them stick.
Whether you're buying your first handgun or you've carried for years, my goal is the same: help you take responsibility for your own safety and your family's, with skills you can trust.
